How to hang a flat screen on a Gyprock ™ wall

In order to hang up a flat screen TV on a gyprock wall, there are a few steps and techniques that one must take. To hang your flat screen television properly on your gyprock wall you will want to follow  the steps listed. First step unpack the television and all equipment
The most important step of all is to unpack the television including all cables, remotes, brackets, and hardware. Keep your television in the protective bubble wrap, that way while you are working you will not damage it. You will want to place your cables behind the wall before you hang the television if you are hiding them.

Next attach the brackets
You now want to attach the brackets to the back part of the television using the hardware that was supplied with it. This is an important step in making sure you hang your flat screen television properly.

Now mark the location
It’s important to remember that televisions are best when watched at a slightly higher than eye level location.  If you are wanting to hide the cables you will want to pick a location on the plasterboard where the wires may run easily from their source to the television. You can use a cardboard cut out approximately the size and shape of your television, you will want to outline the location of the television with a pencil

Attaching the wall mount
With the use of a stud finder you will want to find where two studs within your outline are located. Mark around the outside edges and the center after that. Make sure to use a level to that the wall mount is lined up evenly on the wall, then you can drill your holes. Attach the wall mount using the hardware that was included.

Final Product
Hang the screen on the wall mount by putting the brackets into place.
